Jumpstart
Jumpstart is for kids that are 3 years old through Kindergarten.*
In Jumpstart, we sing, shout, play, JUMP, make friends, and learn about Jesus. We keep things fun and interesting for our Jumpstart kids by using various curricula.
Our goal is to keep everything we do as Bible-based and centered around a real relationship with Jesus Christ.
All of our volunteers are members of the church and have been trained to work with kids. They have also submitted to a background check, for the security of our kids.
We have snacks during our classes, so please inform us if your child has a food restriction and/or allergy.
*Children that attend Jumpstart must be able to go to the bathroom independently. We will help the young ones with their buttons and zippers but for the most part, they need to be successful in going to the bathroom “by themselves.”
CHECK-IN and PICK UP Procedures for Sunday Services
Jumpstart begins at the same time as the services in our sanctuary; at 9:30 and 11:00am. You can check your child in 15 minutes before service begins and we ask that you pick up your child within 10 minutes of service ending.
- Check in for Jumpstart is inside the foyer of The Core.
- When you check in your child you will receive 2 stickers; please keep the smaller sticker and place the larger sticker on your child’s back.
- If there is an issue with your child or if you child becomes ill, we will post the number from your child’s sticker on the screens in the sanctuary. If you see your child’s number posted on the screen, please report immediately to your child’s classroom for assistance.
- After this, you will walk your child upstairs to his/her classroom.
- When church is over you will return to the same room to pick up your child.
- Please give the teacher the smaller sticker so we are assured that your child is going home with the right person!
