Flipside is the children’s ministry of Willowbrook Church and it’s here that “we’re all about kids!”
At Flipside, we are:
Word-Centered
- We keep the Word of God as our foundation and the center-point of all we do.
Family-Friendly
- We offer children’s classes (from 6 weeks through 5th grade) during all of our adult services, which are at 9:30 & 11a.m. on Sundays and Wednesdays at 7p.m. So, while parents are experiencing the creative, life-changing worship services of Willowbrook Church, children are experiencing the same thing!
Friendship-Focused
- We know that relationships are important. We work hard to connect our kids to one another and to our leaders with a goal to build healthy and happy friendships that will last.
Never Bored
- We strive to think outside the box! We don’t want church to be the same as it was when “we were young” so we keep it full of energy, entertaining, and relevant.
Age-Appropriate
- We do our best to look through the eyes of today’s kid and discover where they are and what would help them grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
Safe & Secure
- We have check-in/check-out procedures to keep our kids where they’re supposed to be during services. All of our Flipside staff is trained and prepared to meet the needs of your children while they are in our care.

FAQ’s:
What time do the Children’s Ministry classes begin?
Babysteps, Tailspin, Jumpstart and Flipside all begin at the same time as Willowbrook Church’s services; Sundays at 9:30 and 11:00am and Wednesdays at 7:00pm.
What time can I check-in my child?
You can check-in your child 15 minutes before each service. (More check-in details are on the “About Us” page each specific class.)
Why do I need a sticker (or ticket) to pick up my child?
The number on the sticker matches the number on your child’s sticker. That way, we can easily tell which child belongs with which parent.
What if I lose my sticker?
If you lose your sticker and the person collecting the stickers doesn’t know which child is yours, then you will be held a few minutes until our Children’s Pastor (or staff member) can greet you and ask a few questions. This is for the safety of your child and is in no way intending to inconvenience you. We cannot reprint a sticker to match the original one, for security reasons.
What if my child gets sick during service or if my child has an emergency?
This is exactly why we ask for your cell number and ask you to keep your cell with you (on vibrate) during services. We will attempt to text you if we need you. If we cannot reach you on your cell, we will ask the media team in the sanctuary to put your child’s number on the main screen in the service. If you see your child’s number, please come to the check-in lobby of Flipside (and that’s another reason why you need to keep your sticker nearby!)
What are the age limits for all of the classes in Flipside Kid’s Ministry?
Babysteps Nursery is perfect for infants that are six weeks old until they turn 2 years old.
Tailspin is the place for 2 year olds until they turn 3 and/or are potty trained.
Jumpstart is especially for kids that are age 3 through Kindergarten.
Flipside is geared for kids that have graduated kindergarten through the 5th grade.
I have a child that hasn’t graduated Kindergarten but is very mature for his/her age, may he/she attend Flipside instead of Jumpstart?
Most Kindergarteners will feel more at home in Jumpstart…it is structured where there is adequate play time, snacks, and a time for church lessons. It is also geared for those that do not read on their own. Flilpside is fast paced and for kids that are independent readers. Because of this, there will be very few exceptions allowed.
Can I attend Flipside with my child?
Absolutely!!! We love it when our parents join us!
