Our mission is to “Strengthen Marriages” and “Connect Couples”.
It is not always easy being married. The pressures of work, family, and life in general can put a strain on any relationship.
ONE Ministry focuses on encouraging and supporting couples as they intentionally strengthen and build Christ-centered marriages while connecting with other couples as we go through life together.
One Night
Three times a year on a Sunday night, ONE Night events bring couples together for an evening of entertainment, a chance to meet and get to know other couples, and an opportunity to spend time focusing on their marriage.
Small Groups
Small groups are the life blood of Willowbrook Church! Small groups geared specifically for marriage is a great way to build and strengthen marriages by getting new ideas from the material presented and from other couples. “…iron sharpens iron.”
Marriage Mentoring
Just as it is wise to seek godly mentors for our personal lives, our marriages also need the wisdom of Godly couples who have been where we are now. Marriage Mentors are not counselors, but are couples who have learned a few things through the years about building strong, Godly marriages. These mentors have a heart for marriages and will gladly share what God has taught them to couples who ask for their encouragement.
Darren & Lavena Wyatt are the directors of Willowbrook’s “One” ministry and they faithfully serve in planning events, mentoring couples, and hosting Small Groups.
