Pastors
Steve Owens is the Lead Pastor here at Willowbrook Church. Steve and wife Marti, have been in full-time ministry for over 19 years. After graduating from Southwestern Assemblies of God University in 1990, they served as youth pastors in Oklahoma for six years. In January 1997 they moved to Houston, Texas to assist in the planting of an inner-city ministry in the heart of downtown.
In September 2001, Steve and Marti became pastors of Willowbrook Church. During this time the church has continued to flourish as they seek to impact northwest Houston. His passionate, practical and often humorous presentation equips the believer and impacts the unchurched.
Steve and Marti have been married for 19 years and have two children, Austin and Sydni.
Mike Reiszner is the Student Ministries Pastor here at Willowbrook Church. Mike and his wife Mandy have been in the ministry for over 10 years. They have been involved with an inner city church plant in Houston’s 4th ward, youth pastored for three years in Louisiana, and are now dedicated to reaching and discipling our next generation of students in Core Church. Mike is also the founder of Coreluv International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing for orphans.
Mike and Mandy are blessed with three children, John Michael, Bethany and Christian.
Scott Hussey is the Worship Pastor here at Willowbrook Church and has been in ministry for over 15 years. He is an established song writer/composer with many songs off of featured worship projects Pour Out Your Glory, Songs of Pursuit, Crave and Willowbrook Projects. Not only is Scott a musician, but he is also and music instructor because he recognizes the need to grow, build and develop the generations to come.
He is blessed with a family, wife Brandy, and son Drake (believing for a girl – Scott doesn’t think he can handle another boy).
Brian Bowen is the Life Development Pastor here at Willowbrook Church. Brian and his wife Rhonda, our children’s pastor, have been in the ministry for over 13 years and have been involved with a church plant, developing a Masters Commission and youth pastoring. With a bachelors degree of business administration in accounting and experience in finance he brings a lot to the table while overseeing the church’s finances.
